Internet marketing is going to be my choice in starting up a home business. Furthermore, affiliate marketing (a specific type of internet marketing) looks even more interesting to me. After over 20 years in dealing with the public face to face, I LOVE the idea of being able to work behind the scenes and interact with my customers online.

Wikipedia’s definition for affiliate marketing:

“Affiliate Marketing is an Internet-based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s marketing efforts.”

Now all I have to do is to look into different types of affiliate marketing programs and find out how to do it! lol

My next entry will be about what I am actually finding and where it takes me.
